Township Manager
As Township Manager, I was responsible for the daily operations of the township, leading the staff and liaising with the Board of Commissioners so they could make informed decisions when voting on important township issues. During this time I also managed the Municipal Authority. I know what it takes to hold this position and am committed to finding and mentoring the right candidate for the job.

Township Resident
I graduated from Middletown Area High School and Harrisburg Area Community College. In 1974, I started my young family here while working for a local highway engineering firm as a highway designer and Professional Land Surveyor. Lower Swatara will always be my home.

Running for Board of Commissioners was not a goal when I retired from my 35-year career with Lower Swatara Township. I'm not a politician and it isn't something I'm aiming for now. I was compelled to run because I've spent my life's work building this township, and what I see happening under the current administration concerns me. This township is in need of leadership and consistency, and my past experience shows that I am qualified to fill a void that is clearly growing.

My 35 years of experience working for the township provided me with a unique skillset that can help us identify the best candidates for the various vacancies in township staff. Replenshing staff with candidates that will stay with the township and build institutional knowledge is critical for maintaining the quality of life we have come to know as residents of this great place.

Additionally, I understand what it means to be a resident of this community and I value transparency in our government. I am committed to serving the residents and will answer any question asked, and if I don't know the answer, I'll find out and get back to you. If I am elected to office, my number one priority is serving the residents. I take great pride in funding my campaign with my own dollars, it means I'm beholden only to the residents of this township and will not be influenced by any other individual, politician, or special interest group.
